VSC injects Covid-19 vaccine for employees at 3 factories
To ensure the safety of all officers and employees at the factory as well as for workers to feel secure to participate in production during the complicated situation of the Covid-19 pandemic an d to fully implementing the 5K message of the Ministry of Health, including: Mask - Disinfection - Distance - No gathering - Medical declaration, VSC's leadership also strengthened other anti-pandemic measures such as:
• Implementation of "3 on-sit e " including: On-site production - On-site dining - On-site rest at Can Tho Factory and Kien Giang Factory.
• Apply 2 shifts: Each shift has less than 300 people working at Bac Lieu Factory.
• Vaccination against Covid-19 for all officers and employees at 3 factories.

In particular, it is worth mentioning that the urgent implementation of Covid-19 vaccination for all officers and employees. Up to now, although not 100% of them have been vaccinated, VSC has successfully allocated and vaccinated 1,431 staff and workers at 3 Vinatex garment factories:
• Can Tho Garment Factory: 271 employees have been vaccinated.
• Kien Giang Garment Factory: 550 employees have been vaccinated.
• Bac Lieu Garment Factory: 610 employees have been vaccinated.

VSC strives to immunize 100% of workers at factories

It can be said that achieving such results is the initial success in VSC’s anti-pandemic work. The majority of unvaccinated cases are people who are in pandemic areas, are in isolation, have underlying medical conditions or are in pregnancy. In the coming time, the Board of Directors and factory directors will continue to make efforts to deploy the additional batch to ensure 100% of employees are vaccinated.

Based on the current pandemic situation, it is expected that by the end of August 15, 2021, Vinatex factories will return to normal work. However, it is still necessary to fully comply with the 5K message and other regulations of the factory and local authorities to ensure maximum safety for workers. Thus, in the past 1 month, there have been many difficulties for both the Corporation and 3 Vinatex factories. However, with the continuous efforts of the Board of Directors, we believe that in the near future, 100% of employees will be vaccinated against Covid-19 and can return to the factory to work fully and safely.
