The associations said that in the two years 2020-2021, a strong outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic and unpredictable developments had seriously affected all aspects of businesses, making businesses really difficult and exhausted. Moreover, the status of employees as F0 continues to occur and businesses are still struggling to cope, leading to the post-Covid situation, seriously affecting the productivity of enterprises. If the Government decides to increase wages from July 1, enterprises will not be able to manage in time to change their business strategies and production plans because the time has come too close, due to all production and financial options. and orders are built from the end of last year. In addition, all businesses have increased wages in early 2021, 2022. Contracts with partners including commodity prices... have been closed and signed with partners since the beginning of the year, so it is impossible to increase prices. sell goods.

Associations are also concerned that a salary increase in the middle of the year like this July will push businesses into an extremely difficult situation, many businesses will have to cancel contracts because of unsecured costs, affecting the job employment and income of workers and the survival of enterprises. Many businesses are at risk of having to cut workers, suspend or reduce production, or even go bankrupt because they cannot afford to pay labor costs. This will lead to potentially tens of thousands of workers without jobs.

"It can be seen that businesses are heavily affected by the Covid-19 epidemic and also need to get support from the Government just like the Government supports workers", 8 industry associations emphasized and suggested the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister considers and considers solutions to support businesses, delays the application of the regional minimum wage increase, applied from January 1, 2023 so that businesses have the best time to prepare.
