Collection "Where I Belong" ( Where I belong ) will be presented in Hall 3.0 of the Convention Heimtextile trade, Frankfurt, Germany from May 7 to 10 January 2020.

At the Heimtextil, Franfurk, Germany, the new world trend is predicted to be a multi-layered and intertwined society.

The overarching theme - "Where I belong" - comes from the idea that all perception is experience and every experience is local identity.

"The flexibility of society is a reality and the supply of textiles and designs must match that." Heimtextil Trend Council ( Council Heimtextil trend ) such notification in the opening pages of the book trend for the year 2020/2021 Heimtextile.

"Where I belong" is divided into 5 separate design trends.

Maximum Glam

Maximum Glam honors its understanding of technology, expressing itself in every little detail. Add to that the use of 3D dynamic and decorative surface effects, refractions and reflections inspired by digital technology. This trend is like an uprising against identification, with textiles and similar patterns.

Pure Spiritual

Pure Spiritual refers to life filled with global instability. Here, technology is well exploited and naturally as a balance of stresses. Fabrics made from organic matter, and fabrics made from natural fabrics with no decorations or patterns. This topic is a combination of products made with natural sources as well as natural imitation products.

Active Urban

Active Urban prioritizes flexible, adaptive results and internal resources. Powerful sports-inspired theme with simple apps for colors, 3D images, virtual reality and monochrome materials. Recycled and granulated composites are part of the trend, including a combination of foam-padded textiles and laser-cut textiles.

Heritage Lux

Heritage Lux takes the theme of a global heritage, recreating inspiring ancient images. This trend blends classical architectural styles with contemporary elements while preserving historical details. This woven fabric has a sexy surface along with references to the distant past. Gentle expression through hand-shaped fabrics, decorative patterns and surface enhancements make them more attractive.

Multi- Local

Multi-Local reflects a world of globalization, haste, appreciation of appropriation and capture of exchanges. Design influences from Asia, the Middle East and African countries come together to show the cultural flow. The fabric consists of two tones made of coarse cloth, cotton and cane, the surfaces are similar to organic fabrics and indigenous woven carpets.

The Heimtextil Trend Panel is directed by Anne Maria Commandeur from Stijlinstituut Amsterdam of the Netherlands in conjunction with the FranklinTill Studio from England and Spott Trends & Business from Denmark.

A full presentation of this trend is on display at Messe Frankfurt in Hall 3.0 during the Heimtextil Trade Fair, from 7 to 10 January 2020.
